Tax day is never too, too awful for me because it’s my birthday — woo, hoo!! See, this way I always have a good excuse for spending our entire tax refund on shoes: “They’re for my birthday!!” No, I kid! Actually, I’m celebrating with a blog re-design — surely you noticed — and with a some bright green spring buds:

We don’t have buds like this in Maine yet — I took this picture in Boston over the weekend. But they’re coming to Maine soon…I’m sure of it. Yay! This picture makes me so happy!! Hope you have a happy day, too — may the tax angels smile upon you!
