First off, a photo of some forsythia (obligatory collegiate brick in the background) that I took about a month ago:
I love. Love. LOVE this picture — I think it’s my favorite of my photos since I took this one last fall. What do you think? (That’s not a rhetorical question, by the way — I really do welcome your feedback.)
And some great photographs from the talented folks at flickr:
glass beach – Wow, so pretty! It’s like a whole beach covered in tiny treasures.
rust flower – I like the thought of a flower juxtaposed with rusty, industrial iron.
the farmhouse – Don’t you just love abandoned buildings? They’re so evocative and melancholy.
library green smiles – This shade of green makes me swoon. Seriously, where can I get those chairs for my house?
green depression glass collection – More green. One can never have too much green, I say.
sweet memories – Great shot, great memories. My mom used to dry laundry outside — it made everything smell so yummy! Hm, maybe I should put up some clotheslines.
my tattoo, one year later – Nice tattoo, even more fantastic concept. What a great idea — meaningful word, visually interesting design, and a great way to honor loved ones — I love it! Now my mind is spinning with possibilities (no pun intended) for my own version of this…
And what would Friday be without a flower photo (and some alliteration, for that matter?):
the opening – Surely you remember that peonies are my all-time favorite flower.
I’m already looking forward to mine blooming this summer — I check their progress every day.
See you next weekend — have a fantastic, relaxing, fun holiday weekend, friends!

Great selection, as always! And your forsythia shot is really nice… I just went through some of your Flickr page looking for a favorite, but I refuse. There are too many really amazing pictures to pick a favorite.
