That’s fine. I guess I’ll walk away only saddened by the fact that you thought my colorful argument (still and argument and I’ll stand by that) is my own opinion of her.

I still feel I was only pointing out that it seemed that the reps and media has had a field day with her because she is a woman and that has been fueled by the report that came out that the most popular search online has been “Sarah Palin Nude”. Maybe I should change the wording so it appeals a bit more to the conservative mind.

“An attractive young powerful alternative gendered candidate easily nullifies an African-American with an Islamic sounding name.”

The argument is that this is what the reps were secretly pulling for.

Ie, my suggestion of republican thought is: “We need something to pull the votes from those who were for Hillary. They more than likely have a soft spot for the politically disenfranchised (non white-male).”

Actually, Sarah Palin speaks “conservative” to true conservatives and McCain doesn’t. Truth be told, I wasn’t and still am not that excited about McCain because I do not think his policies are as conservative as I’d like them to be. I have read about Palin’s policies and I like them a lot. And so do many others. Conservatives have been waiting a long time for someone like her. Someone who speaks and thinks like them. She happens to be a woman and, yes, that adds excitement and diversity to the ticket.

“Two breasts under everyman’s librarian fantasy…” ? Nice argumentative skills. As far as this thread is concerned…I’m done.

Yay! for comments that aren’t backed up! Maybe the suggestion is that I’m a low brow who wears a wife beater t-shirt with a mustard stain and drinks Budweiser on the front porch next to my hound dog while cleaning the ol’ shotgun. I’m unsure. Their is no fear whatsoever about having a “female” VP. I would actually even vote for a female president if I believed in her prowess and ability and she had a well rounded platform. No, I was merely commenting on the press coverage of “her well rounded platform” and the republican masses swooning over her using the “hot chica ticket” like it’s a free pass to the White House Disneyland. Why was there not this much fanfare on the conservative side of the house when it was a minority versus ol’ whitey? They’ve merely picked a “racecard killer” as VP. Two breasts under everyman’s librarian fantasy easily nullify an African American with an Islamic name. Maybe the Republicans were just trying to pick up what Billary left behind? Other than a mighty powerful pantsuit, that is.

I would have come to your party and I, too, would have been raising my fist in the air – it really was a breath of fresh air! I wasn’t real sure about McCain but his choice of Palin has made my choice very easy!

You are really getting into this, huh. Beautiful spin, excellent leaders often pick excellent speech writers. I am currently of the mind of voting for McCain, I want you to know, but it seems to me like the “Non-penised” potential VP is having that fact stroked at every turn. The Republican party bringing out another female govenor to speak on her behalf only drives that home. After all she used the word, “engenders” when speaking of Sarah, when so many other “common” words would have worked and been understood by the drooling masses. There is nothing wrong with having a woman in the White House, but the Reps are giving the world what it wants. A hot chick that they can google. No pun intended.
