I am just a girl trying to find my way in the world. This blog is my little creative corner of the vast intar-tubes where I write about my life.
I consider myself a Christian, but not a very good one.
I am married to That Guy Joel.
I am conservative.
I am a singer and a voice teacher.
I love taking pictures and I usually carry my camera with me everywhere I go.
I love the ocean — the vast expanse, the smell of the salt air, the sound of the breaking waves.
I love exploring cemeteries.
I like to read, write, watch movies, spend time with family and friends, kayak, bowl, play games, go shopping.
I have a serious weakness for shoes and handbags. And jewelry. Well, all accessories, really.
After 12 years in Boston, I moved back to my hometown and now I live in the house where I grew up and where my Dad grew up — the house has been in my family for 3 generations.
I am parentless now, but I have an amazing extended family — parents-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother, sisters-in-law, a niece and a nephew, and some really great friends.
I love making things (paper crafts, knitting, sewing, collaging…), but I’m not that good at it. They never come out looking the way they looked in my head…
I don’t really like to cook, but I’m pretty good at it. I do like cooking for other people, but for myself I can’t muster up much more than tofu with ramen noodles — a bad habit from college that I can’t seem to break.
Please do not use any of the photos or content from my page without my permission. God can see you, even if I can’t.
Links to my photos or blog are fine. Thanks.
